Every answer in ICU and trauma has these
- Start with how urgent it is, the operation, and what has gone wrong in this patient.
- In trauma, run xABCDE first: stop the bleeding and give blood before definitive repair.
- Name the numbers you are chasing: pressure, oxygen, CO2, temperature, glucose and urine output.
